About the Role

We are looking for a Project & Delivery Lead to head up our project area and ensure the efficient execution of the company's strategic initiatives.


This role is twofold: hands-on project management while also leading the team, acting as a direct bridge between our business and technology areas.


We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional, responsible for ensuring that our technical integrations and strategic projects are delivered with quality and efficiency, effectively bridging business needs and technical teams.




Main Responsibilities



1. Project Management (Functional Analyst / Project & Delivery Manager / QA)


  • Manage strategic integration and development projects, with a strong focus on API integrations, digital platforms, and data flows.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines and deliverables, ensuring successful project execution.

  • Supervise and coordinate technical teams, ensuring deadlines and goals are met, and promoting effective collaboration across all stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, alignment of expectations, and timely problem resolution.

  • Assess and manage risks, proactively identifying potential challenges and implementing mitigation strategies to minimise project impact.

  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management, providing clear updates and insights to support decision-making.

  • Ensure the quality of project deliverables, carrying out structured quality control reviews.

  • Ensure that deployments are properly approved and request them whenever necessary.



2. Leadership of the Project Area


  • Define and structure processes and best practices for the Project and Delivery area, ensuring efficiency and consistency in project execution.

  • Act as the main bridge between the project team and business and technology teams, ensuring priorities are aligned and communication flows smoothly across all parties.

  • Develop and empower the project team, fostering its continuous growth and evolution.

  • Contribute to defining the company’s overall project strategy, ensuring its effective implementation and ongoing improvement.



Technical & Personal Skills


  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in project management with a strong technical component, functional analysis, and quality control.

  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial sector will be highly valued.

  • Ability to act as a bridge between technical teams and the business, translating strategic needs into clear technical specifications.

  • Strong planning, monitoring, and reporting skills.

  • Ability to identify risks and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with leadership and motivational capabilities.

  • Proactivity and strong results orientation.

  • Ability to work autonomously and with a high sense of responsibility.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.
