About the Role
Habit combines technology with people and insurance. Our platform enables our affinity partners to distribute embedded insurance products in context and with the highest conversion rates.
We are looking for an experienced WordPress Fullstack Developer to play a pivotal role in implementing websites using our API for our partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain WordPress websites and web applications from concept to deployment.
Integrate third-party APIs and RESTful services seamlessly into WordPress projects.
Collaborate with design and development teams to implement user-friendly interfaces and features.
Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WordPress functionality, API integration, and compatibility.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a WordPress Developer
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Demonstrated expertise in integrating third-party APIs and RESTful services into WordPress projects.
Experience with REST, JSON, Third-party OAuth integrations, Git
Experienced using relational or non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis or others)
Comfortable with Linux CLI
Open to learning new technologies
Fluent in Portuguese and English
Full-time position based in Lisbon, Portugal, with a hybrid work regime.
Nice to have
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
